This incredible journey finally had to come to an end. We spent the last night in the home of Rachna, one of the PhD students enrolled at the Lakulish Yoga University whom I had met back in Ahmedabad. Their swank apartment breathes yoga thanks to a surprising back-lit panel with the OM symbol that rises over a small shelf with their divine images where they pray daily. Her husband, who runs an industrial and commercial carpeting business for events like expos and weddings, lifts weights in his spare time but was funnily sentimental about his dog. Indian men in general express a wider range of emotions than Western men. Rachna and I did a little bit of yoga together while Senêt checked in on NATA, something he did diligently throughout his time away. Then it was time to head back to the airport for our flight back to Paris.

Ce voyage incroyable a finalement touché à sa fin avec une dernière nuit passée à Delhi avant le vol de retour pour Paris. Nous étions accueilli chez Rachna, une des doctorantes du Lakulish Yoga University rencontrée à Ahmedabad. Leur appartement respire le yoga grâce à un décor lumineux fait sur mesure qui domine un petit autel où ils prient chaque jour. Son mari, qui dirige une entreprise de moquette commerciale pour salons, foires et mariages, fait de la musculation mais est extrêmement tendre avec leur petit chien. Les hommes indiens en général montrent plus d’émotions que leurs confrères occidentaux. J’ai fait un peu de yoga avec Rachna alors que Senêt vérifiait l’activité de NATA, ce qu’il a fait religieusement pendant toute son absence. Puis il fallait finalement partir pour l’aéroport.
