So apparently Rajarshi Muni, Swami Kripalu's disciple and successor, had the idea of the building as a lotus and made some drawings which I am supposed to be getting pictures of soon. An architectural firm then worked up his "idea" into a buildable building that took five years to finish. It looks better from far away than from close up, as do many things here...
